As you most likely know we are based in Lithuania (and I can’t blame you if you don’t know where that is). The thing is, quite a lot of our friends are based on the other side of the pond and are wide awake when we are asleep. So we thought that we need some help in spreading the word, helping developers and our US partners while we watch those dreams.
My first contact with Jeff was exactly one year ago, when he wrote a lengthy email to the under-the-radar section of the AppBizDev podcast. Later on we had him as guest. And finally we met in person at Build 2013 where I watched Jeff demonstrate uncharacteristically great (for a developer) communication skills. That’s when I knew that this is the guy I’d love to have on our team. And luckily he said yes.
Here’s Jeff’s “official” bio in case you are wondering who he is in “real life”:
Jeffrey Harmon, having started programming at the age of 11, has been in the database/application development field for over 15 years. He is currently a Lead Application Developer for Quaero in Burlington, MA during the day, and founder of AgileData Software (ADS) at night. After starting ADS based around business software for working with large data files, he fell in love with the design and consumer focus of “Metro” for both Windows 8 and Windows Phone, and his app Memorylage has been quite successful on both platforms. He is active in the Microsoft community, both locally, as well as on line, and can be found most often on Twitter at @jrharmon82.
If you’ve seen AdDuplex challenge on DVLUP you have probably watched the video introduction to AdDuplex Jeff made and, if you happen to live in the Boston area, chances are high you’ve met him in person.
This post is long overdue and I’m sorry for that, but we are extremely happy to finally officially welcome you to the family, Jeff, and thankful for the great work you’ve done so far and will do in the future!
